What is the typical lead time for an order placed with your company?
- When an order for ratchet straps is placed online or through our call in customer care we ship stock tie downs within 24 hours and custom made tie down strap are shipped within 1 to 2 business days depending on the quantity ordered.
Are your strap assemblies Made in the USA?
-RatchetStraps.com looks to offer a high quality tie downs at a great price. We sew our tie down straps in house at a very affordable price and use polyester webbing and tie down hardware that have been strength tested whether imported or domestic.
Do you have any retailers in my area?
-Ratchet Straps USA is an eCommerce company that sells through our online store or through our customer call in center.
Do you sell just the long end or short end replacements for ratchet straps instead of the whole assembly?
-Yes, we have both long end and short end replacements for your tie downs here
Do you have minimum quantities on orders?
-No, we sell our tie down straps to large companies as well as to individuals.
What does WLL stand for?
-Working Load Limit – is 1/3 in pounds the weakest point of breaking strength of the tie downs
What does BS stand for?
-Break Strength – is the poundage in which the raw material would withstand before the strap is assembled.
What size of strap do I need?
-The most common straps for any personal as well as commercial use are 1” and 2”tie down straps. 3” and 4” tie down straps are used almost exclusively for flatbed trucks and big rig hauling. Call for any further questions you may have on this topic.
What is the difference between ratchet straps and cambuckle straps?
-Ratchet Straps use a mechanism that you “pump” the handle to make the strap tighten and secure your product. Cambuckle Straps use a spring loaded mechanism that hold the straps tight when the slack is pulled out and releases by a simple press of the handle.
What are endless loop straps?
-The easiest way to describe endless loop straps is simply to compare them just like the belt that you wear around your waste. You have your ratchet buckle or your cam buckle and a “tail” of strap material that feeds back into the buckle and tightens the strap to bundle your items or tighten anything.
